A selection of kind words from some of my many happy customers...
'Oh Joy!! I've framed all three in your Wildflower bouquet series!
Sorry the light is not very good, but they really do look brilliant to the naked eye!
And happily, the bees and roots all made it into the 6 x6" frame!
I really want to hang them in my studio so I can see them clearly and often.' x

(I haven't seen my cards framed like this and I love how they look, thank you! So happy they're in Nashville, Tennessee with you Janni, too :) x)
'I discovered the other day that your 'Gurnard's Head' picture fits in exactly with my
bedroom vibe...'

- am so happy that my giclee print of my 'Towards the Gurnard's Head' felting is in such a beautiful bedroom! (back wall above the bed) and in a frame created to match, by Dymphna! x
'I thought I’d send you this photo of Ozzy admiring his self-portrait!
It’s an amazingly beautiful picture and I’m thrilled you managed to capture Ozzy so well! We appreciated all of your research into Ozzy and his personality rather than just assume he was just another black cat (which of course he’s not!).'

'I fell in love with your feltings when I visited a tea room near St Ives a couple of years ago and whilst I did buy one of your cards of St Michael's Mount, to my regret I didn't buy a felting. My daughter surprised me though for Fathers day this year when she gave me your amazing work of the ' Windy morning 9am Marazion' that is now hanging in my study for me to look at and wish I was there, when I'm working from home.'

'I gave your Donkey and Moon to my husband last year because he saw it in your exhibition at Morvah Schoolhouse and loved it.
He keeps it on the window sill in our granite cottage and when I mentioned we could put it on the wall, he said no, he liked it just where it is, where he can see it when he's sitting in the armchair.' x

'My husband gave me a print of your wonderful picture, Approaching Morvah, for Christmas - it is truly beautiful and I wanted to say to you as well as him, how grateful I am. Also a lovely card of the Red Wheelbarrow, with the chickens.
I first saw your work upstairs at Archie Brown's in Penzance and was really tempted then, but let it go and regretted that afterwards. Then eventually I was able to find your website and see the picture that had impressed me so much, and when I found out you had prints it went straight on my Christmas list! It is just so evocative of West Cornwall, and so unique.'

'My card of the year!'
I am thrilled, thank you, Rowena. The 'Snail and Mt. Fuji' cards are exquisite, stunning... the nicest cards I have ever seen and I love the Buddhist link too.' (Inspired by the haiku by Kobayashi Issa)

She is lovely.'

‘Your scenes of the Cornish countryside and its wildlife make my heart sing.
… and it isn’t just the landscapes, but the birds, snails, cats, rabbits, etc. They reveal your affection for what you produce, whether it is a zany crow, an adventurous snail or whatever. It is such fun to have the image of Morvah always available to cheer me up because it is a place where I’ve spent many happy hours – some with weather which wasn’t always this sunny!!
I live in Maryland – far from the sea and not in an area with the long history that Cornwall has. However, some Cornish copper miners did settle in my county in the mid-19th century and still have descendants living here. One of them belongs to my genealogical society. His ancestor, Thomas Paynter, came over in about 1849 – sailed out of Hayle – and was a mining captain here. We had some copper mines, but they were later surpassed by huge operations in other parts of the U.S. and were shut down for the most part by about 1880-1890.’

'Right now the snail is sitting on the bedside table and every night when I switch off that light, there he is with his neck stretched out looking at the world! He’s such a bold little guy … daring to think BIG about the world and come out of his shell! A real inspiration!'

'Delighted to receive a commissioned and customised felting of my pet budgie Angel from Rowena Scotney Feltings -- my heartfelt gratitude for your beautiful talented work! I sent Rowena a couple of pics of Angel beforehand, and Voila, the result was remarkable, a truly magnificent captured 'up close & personal' portrayal of Angel's personality and character "love, love". The delivery was quick, and the felting was intricately packaged and travelled well across the ocean miles to New Zealand, arriving in immaculate condition. I'm ecstatic, overjoyed and so absolutely delighted!! Brought tears and smiles - joy abounding. A special piece I will treasure forevermore, radiating fond memories in years to come. I will send pictures when it is framed and displayed in a special place in our home. I recommend this as a special keepsake memoir for pet owners' ⭐ 😃 💖

'Thank you, Rowena for the beautiful work you do! I am loving the cards and the Bigwig print. There is something so mysterious about that rabbit. ;-)
The cards are exquisite. On such lovely paper and the colors are deep and true. I may have to order more though, because I really just don't want to give these away.
Your work is a reflection of your deep appreciation for nature and the animals who abide there.
The shopping, check out and shipping all went perfectly. I'll definitely be shopping again!'

'Thank you so much, I have received the painting and my heart leapt with joy when I opened it. The colours were so harmonious and one look at the picture transported me to a world within. Couldn't stop admiring it. Thank you Rowena for such a heartfelt piece of work, it is an honor for me to receive it. It's definitely going on my favourite wall at home, brings me such joy whenever I look at it! Thank you and looking forward to more of your beautiful works!

'We have been visiting Cornwall for many years and finally found a piece of artwork that really captured our hearts.
This print of Portheras Cove is so beautifully detailed, recreates all the elements of the landscapes so uniquely and brings back such special memories everytime we see it.
We were so pleased to be able to purchase it easily via Rowena's website after seeing it on holiday and we couldn't be happier.'

'The moment I saw Rowena's longtail tit, captured so lovingly in all its woolly small wonderfulness, I knew it just had to be mine. And now I have it and it hangs next to Rowena's Gulval sparrow and every time I look at them (which is a lot), I feel happy and full of admiration for an artist who puts a little of her heart in each of her feltings. Thank you Rowena.'

'I fell in love with these sheep the moment I saw their cute faces...and knew it would be the perfect gift for my sister. We had decided to wait until the month of January to get "Christmas" gifts for each other and I'm so glad I waited so I could discover Rowena's website and adorable sheep! "Molly" will now be staying with a loving family in the southern state of North Carolina in the US. She'll be well taken care of!'

'Look who showed up! They are the sweetest pair. I love them!... They not only flew across the ocean, they did a tour of the eleven western states.
And look how well they held up!'

'We asked Rowena to do a commissioned felting of our faithful hound, George. We were blown away by the picture she created! It looks exactly like him and captures him in his prime - we have something to always look back at with fondness ... We can't wait to get another one to go on the wall with it - I think it might have to be one of the chickens :-)'

'I love the cards. The detail on them is amazing. They arrived each perfectly wrapped in a transparent envelope - ready to give as a gift to someone if I'd want to. I've ordered artprints online before, and sometimes the card stock is disappointing, but these are beautiful, printed on thick cardstock (100% recycled too). The only problem is, I don't actually want to send them to anyone just yet, just want to keep them for myself :)'

'Gorgeous, beautiful and totally enthralling... The giclee print is incredibly detailed and looks so like the original felting ... It feels like you can touch it. Love love love it!! Thank you so much for the lovely card prints as well... think they will be in a frame very soon and with my other artwork! My friend will be absolutely blown away - especially as the little white chicken looks like her polish cockerel that she adored who died a short time ago! Wow is all I can say. Rowena is very friendly to deal with and I would totally recommend Rowena to anyone for original, quality artwork. She was a joy to deal with.'

'Rowena Scotney's pieces are truly magical. When you view her art, you are transported to another world. I absolutely love ALL of her feltings. But among my very very favorite are her warm and loving depiction of her kitty Shadow, the tiny violet flowers that bravely and courageously grow on a black felt background, her humorous sheep that looks like it is smiling at me, and the lovely rural landscape with rural homes, winding grey asphalt, and specks of red and yellow flowers. Rowena Scotney's art is more than meets the eye. It is more than a felting. It is a peek into her beautiful heart and deep emotions. When you own a piece of Rowena Scotney's art it does something cathartic to you. It heals. And THAT makes her art priceless. I am truly honored to own a Rowena Scotney collection.'
